Does virgin mobile use sim cards?

I found out virgin mobile has the iPhone and for only $30 a month. But the iPhone costs $550-650. Could i just buy an iPhone from amazon or craiglist or something and then get a phone plan from virgin mobile? I really need to know if thats possible or else i'll have to start saving

Virgin Mobile uses CDMA. Which means no SIM cards. They don't have towers of their own, but they pay Verizon and Sprint (the 2 major CDMA providers) to use their towers. And no you can't do that

  • Will T-Mobile have nano-sim cards when the new iphone comes out? I want to buy an unlocked new iphone when it comes out and use it for T-Mobile, but since the new iphone will most likely be using nano-sim cards. I want to know if T-Mobile will have nano-sim cards by the time the new iphone is released.
  • Virgin Mobile iphone 4s: Does it work on T-mobile? If I purchased the unlocked iphone 4s from Virigin mobile would I be able to use it on T-mobile? Does anybody know if the virigin mobile iphone has a spot for a sim card like the ones T-mobile uses?
  • Virgin Mobile Canada to virgin mobile USA? So I bought an iPhone 4S that is locked to bell which they say is compatible with virgin mobile Canada carrier, but I'm moving back to United States soon if I unlock it I can use it in united states on the usa Virgin mobile carrier right?
  • IPhones that can read already activated T-Mobile SIM cards? I asked my dad if I could get an iPhone if I could find one somewhere cheap enough that I could afford it. He said only if I can find one that can read regular T-Mobile SIM card, and is already unlocked to where it will work on the T-Mobile network. Does anyone know where, if they even exist, they can be bought/ordered?
