Download music to iPhone to play offline?

Is there any way on earth that I can download music to my iPhone and then play it without connecting to the internet?

At the moment I'm using those music apps which let you play and search for music. You can also create playlists but it doesn't work without an internet connection.

You can purchase music through iTunes, Amazon or other sources and add them to iTunes.

I know there's the stupid three dot thing off to the side, but selected the make available offline thing for some songs I just bought, and it still won't play them offline! I've never had a problem with this before--just today. And my phone still has 7 GB of storage space left, so I know that s not the problem

All the apps I've tried don't work or I can't find them, please help

  • Iphone 4 won't play music/sound but will play with headphones? I was syncing my phone to my laptop (everything was fine before this), but when I ejected my iphone from my laptop, the sound stopped working. It will still have sounds such as alarms, voice control and that sort of thing, and I can hear it fine when I'm wearing headphones, but other than that (for instance when it's on music or an app that uses sound) it's silent. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
