Downloading movie from itunes?
If I download a movie from itunes off my iphone, and it's fully downloaded, can I watch it on my laptop from itunes? How does that work, will the movie file automatically show up on my laptop's itunes after being downloaded from my phone? Will I have to redownload it on my laptop to be capable to watch it on my laptop?
Yes. They don't automatically appear there (but I believe you can set it up to automatically download anything you buy from any other device- I wouldn't recommend that though) As long as you are logged into the iTunes Store with the same account you purchased the Movie from you can either stream or download the movie(s)
Go to iTunes>Store>Movies>Purchased and there you'll see your purchased movies. Here you can download them into your laptop.
- Will downloading a new iTunes ruin my old iTunes library? I tried connecting my new iPhone 5 to my iTunes but it said that it wouldn't connect because my version of iTunes was really old (from 2010) and I never updated. It said I need to download a new version of iTunes (10.7 onwards) for it to be compatible with my iPhone. But my question is, IF I download a new version of iTunes, will all my old songs on my old iTunes disappear? Because if I had to re-download my whole library, I would seriously cry. That would take the rest of my life.
