Downloading music to itunes?
I heard a song I really liked that wasn't on itunes, so I wanted to download it onto my phone. I went to http://www.video2mp3.net and put in the link to the song, and it downloaded to my itunes on my computer. I looked for it in my itunes store on my phone and it wasn't there. I'm really bad at anything that has to do with technology so what do I do next? If it makes a difference, I have an iPhone.
Your iTunes and the iTunes store are different from one another. Now that the song is in your iTunes library you need to connect your phone and sync it. After it's done syncing the song should show up on your phone.
- Will downloading a new iTunes ruin my old iTunes library? I tried connecting my new iPhone 5 to my iTunes but it said that it wouldn't connect because my version of iTunes was really old (from 2010) and I never updated. It said I need to download a new version of iTunes (10.7 onwards) for it to be compatible with my iPhone. But my question is, IF I download a new version of iTunes, will all my old songs on my old iTunes disappear? Because if I had to re-download my whole library, I would seriously cry. That would take the rest of my life.
