Dropped Iphone 4 in water what should I do next?
Have put in the airing cupboard in bag of rice for about a day. What should I do next? Has anyone sent their water damaged phone to be repaired?

Get a bowl put rice in the bowl put the phone in the rice leave it their for 24 hours
Happened to me, didn't send it off to be repaired. Put it in rice for two days and it seemed to work fine after that.
It's need more then a day… Put for a few weeks in the rice bag. And also buried it.
I dropped mine in hot curry sos><!
I took mine to get it fixed but it wasn't in the warranty so they couldn't help. If you haven't turned it on yet it might be okay.
If you took the battery out right away without trying to turn the phone on and left the battery out and the back when you had it in the rice after 24 hours it should be fine. But make sure that you don't see any moisture before putting the battery back in. In fact if you can leave it in the rice for another 24 hours. If it doesn't work after this hopefully you remembered to get insurance on the phone. I just hope you didn't try to turn the phone on after it fell in the water cause if you did you probably shorted it out.

I'm thinking of getting a new iphone next month but my dad suggested i wait for the new ones in September, what do you guys think and if you think i should get one of the current iphones which should i get the 8 plus or the X?

- I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
- I dropped my iPhone in water and now the screen won't turn on what should i do? It seems like the phone is still working because it still makes noise when I touch the buttons and my alarm still went off this morning but the screen is completely black. It is in rice now but is that still the best solution if everything is working except my screen? And I know I'm supposed to turn it off but I can't because the screen won't work.
