Dropped iPhone 5 in the snow, could damage still occur?
I dropped my phone in the snow about 3 hours ago now and it is still working. It had on a case and a screen protector. At first the speakers sounded weird but that was the only thing wrong with it… But now they sound fine. Could any damage still happen or is it okay?
Nah, it's probably fine. Just don't keep dropping it xD
As long as the snow was cold and dry, and you dusted it off quickly, it will probably be okay. If you have one of those heavy-duty cases that protect against moisture, it probably wasn't affected at all. Extreme cold can prevent it from working properly for a while, but it should recover once it warms up.
- What additional cost may occur from making my iphone a personal hotspot? I turned on the personal hotspot option in settings on my iphone but it says additional costs may occur. Does that mean it costs money for me to connect my other devices or just if i exceed the amount of 3g i'm paying for.
- Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
- Iphone dropped in the snow? Won't turn on? So my mom dropped her iPhone 4 in the snow at about noon (it's 5 now) and all day it worked then it slowly lost all sound. And now it will not even turn on. We can't just run to the apple store or Att store cuz there's not one around. Her phone is in rice right know. I'm hoping it will work when she goes to work. ANY OTHER OPIONS TO Help ME?
- I dropped my iphone on the ground in the rain and it still works, should I still put it in rice? It's been thundering the past week and I dropped my phone on my driveway. It was there for no more than five minutes and it works fine, I had it in rice for ten minutes (doubt it did any good lol) should I keep it in the rice if it works fine?
