DROPPED IPHONE IN HOT TUB
It was in for about 45 seconds (bad I know) and now there are several malfunctions. 1) THE HOME BUTTON doesn't work. 2) my volume button is like stuck down so it keeps raising he volume and it pops up on the screen when I do anything. And 3) the screen is all blurred and dotted. HOWEVER, I'm using it to post this so it isn't fully gone. Are there any tricks or things I could do to fix all or one of these problems. I would prefer an immediate solution but anything is helpful.
Yes, they sell iPhones at best buy I think.
Try the rice trick. It worked for my IPod.
Put it in rice immediately, then put it in the sun but not for very long as sun ruins electronics. Do not press any buttons! That sends an electrical signal that the water can conduct and short circuit it.
Put it in a bag of dried rice overnight like uncooked rice it soaks up the moisture n it should hopefully work. It worked for my iphone when i dropped it in my drink n my home button wouldnt work: p
Turn it OFF. Take the memory card and battery out. Put it in a bag of dry rice for at least 24 hours.
Put your phone on a small stand in front of a desk fan for 12 hours.
Put it in rice for 8 Hours. I had to do that to my Galaxy Note 2 when I was hunting and I dropped mine in the banks of a river. But if that doesn't work your SOL
- What do you do if you drop your iphone in hot tub? Just dropped iphone in a hottub. It sunk to the bottom but I got it out and dried it off right away. The screen is black and its not responding to turning on/off/anybuttons. The flash is on though. What do I do?

BUT I just plugged it in and it keeps making the same sound that it makes when you plug it in to the charger EVERY 5 seconds! There's no picture, it is just black but there's this beeping constantly. - I dropped my IPhone in the tub Last night I was making my water to get in the tub and then I accidentally dropped it in the tub. Well I saved it really fast and it works, but my phone speaker and headphone jack isn't. I had my phone on for like 30-45 minutes before I submerged it in rice. Plus there's a white line in the phone. Please help me because my upgrade isn't till 2015 and we don't have the money to repair it right now. I have a 3gs if that helps.
