Dropped my iPhone 4 now its acting weird?
It keeps turning on and off. The service has said "Searching… " for a while now. My phone was fully charged when it dropped, now its at 1% and won't charge. I JUST got my phone fixed and now its doing this again. Nothing cracked on it, and its acting like this. I'm pissed. Can someone tell me what's going on?
Added (1). Oh, and when I unplug it, it shuts off again.
You should go to an apple store before it's to late.
I'm guessing its related to you dropping it. All signs point to you dropping it.
To save you a bit of reading, get a new phone.
If you really want to know why:
iPhone parts are all specifically designed and assembled. They are VERY hard to get outside of ordering them directly in bulk from the manufacturer. The fact that the cellular antenna isn't working and the battery isn't properly connected resulting in random shutdowns likely means its dead. The cost and time of getting it fixed likely isn't worth simply getting a new phone. Seeing as how you've had it fixed once means it's probably permanent damage to a critical part and replacing said part is essentially replacing the phone.
What's Happening:
"Searching": Cellular Antenna broken, disconnected or the connector is disconnected
"1%" The phone can't detect the battery and has defaulted to lowest battery level. Or the sensor that detects battery charge is broken. It shuts off automatically to prevent data loss.
Long Story Short: An intact screen doesn't mean the inside is fine.
Get a new phone. It's really fun tinkering with a new phone anyways. Plus you get to do the screen plastic peel.

It works apart from the mute button, back camera and the lock button. I turned it off with the assistive touch and put it in some uncooked rice. Can you guys please tell me if i can do anything else?
