Dropped my iPhone 4s in coffee
I dropped my phone in coffee, so I quickly dried it off and let it sit in uncooked rice for 6 hours, but the sound doesn't work! Everything else works perfectly fine, but the sound. The only sound that works is the one coming from the speakers. The headphones jack doesn't work and neither does the place where normal sound like music or youtube videos come out of. Any help would be useful…
Make sue the battery is out of it and put it back in the rice for a few more hours, sometimes it takes up to 24 hours depending on how bad the components got wet. I have salvaged my sons phone several times after it went through the wash. I let it set for 48 hours to be sure, occasionally shaking the bag of rice to disperse the moisture.
Well you probably didn't put it in the rice long enough. 6 hours? That isn't enough time for the asians notice the rice and travel to your house and fix it. Should've allowed 24 hours but seriously some damage just can't be fixed
- How to Siri: Remind me when my last cup of coffee was? How can I dictate with Siri into iPhone (6S) so that it stores the last time I had a cup of coffee? The reason is I'm trying go cut down my caffeine intake, and so before I have another cup, I want to ask Siri, "When was my last cup of coffee?" (eg 5 hours later). I don't want to do it with a pencil and paper or enter it into a note. If there's a way to use Siri in that capacity, that would really be awesome to learn.

- Iphone Damage? I just dropped my iPhone? I just dropped my iPhone and I'm worried I damaged it. I have a casemate case on it and I just dropped it on the wood floor. I don't see any damage, there are no cracks or visible damage, and the screen still works fine. But I'm still worried. Is there anything I should check or any damage I might have? I'm kinda freaking out. Ps. If you know any, please paste a link of the most protective case you know
- I spilled coffee on my iphone 5c? I spilled a lot of coffee on my iphone today. It works perfectly fine, I turned it off and soaked it in rice all day, but this message shows up that says "cable is incompatible with iphone" but it's not plugged in. There's no cable. What should I do? It also does this little freeze thing, I think it has a glitch, should I put it in rice for more time? Should I clean it out?
