Dropped my iPhone 5 in a puddle, still works?
So I was getting on the bus, sat down and realised i didn't have my phone. Searched my person then eventually got off the bus to retrace my steps. Found my phone underneath another bus at the same bus stop (bearing in mind it was PISSING down with rain) and it was sitting in a couple inches of water. Probably sat there 5-7 minutes getting rained on. However, it still works perfectly - like nothing happened. I took it out of its case and dried it quickly and 6 hours on its still functioning perfectly.
Has anyone else dropped their iPhone in water and it still works? Or will it start playing up? What should I look out for?
I wouldn't worry about it if it still works fine.
I dropped my phone in the bath without realising and went under water for about a minute and it still worked perfectly. Only now I'm starting to have problems with my speakers, and this was about a week ago. It might have nothing to do with dropping it in the bath, but I've cleaned all the sound ports on my phone, and its still not working, so I'm guessing its water damage, I don't know
Of the phone is still working perfect now then it should be alright I would imagine.

I dropped it in a bath for like almost 2 seconds and I turned it off, I put it in rice and waited like 10 hrs or so… It turned back on and works just fine.except my ear kind of hurts when I turn my phone on( which never happens when I turn my phone on) what does this mean

- My iPhone fell in a puddle of water twice, will it ever be the same? There were two instances where my iPhone fell in water, once, in the toilet for a second and then it a puddle of water on a train platform. It has been working, however, I remember when I first purchase it (a few months ago, the speed was incredible.) Is it normal for the speed to alter over time? Will my iPhone ever be the same? Perform on the same standards as it's suppose to?
- IPhone 4s camera light stuck on after being dropped in a puddle? Ok so me and my friend were at the park and I accidentally droped my phone (iPhone 4s) in a muddy puddle. We took it to bits and completely dried it (not an easy task I might add!). The only problem now is my camera doesn't work and the light is stuck on. I'm going to try doing a hard reset via iTunes tomorrow but I've read that doesn't actually help. Any suggestions?
