Dropped my iPhone in Hot Tub

So Saturday I had a Lifeproof case on my iphone 4 and i left a little thing open on the case. I was getting out of the hot Tub so it was only in water for like 5 seconds at the most. It completely turned off and nothing has happen since. I have it in rice right now. What should i do?

Well when i dropped my iphone in the toilet i put it in a bowl of rice and a few hours later it actually worked! But you have had it like that since yesterday so chances are it may not work

I don't have an Iphone but can you take the battery out? If so take the battery out and keep it in the rice overnight and check it later and see if it's still wet. If so leave it longer if not put the battery back in and see if it works. Hope I helped.

  • I dropped my IPhone in the tub Last night I was making my water to get in the tub and then I accidentally dropped it in the tub. Well I saved it really fast and it works, but my phone speaker and headphone jack isn't. I had my phone on for like 30-45 minutes before I submerged it in rice.
