Dropped my iPhone in the bathtub?

Okay, so I dropped my iPhone in the bathtub for like literally a split second, so I used the rice method to save it, but I have a question. You're supposed to leave it in the rice for 24 hours, but I only left it in there for like 14 hours. It seems to work perfectly fine, but I'm kind of worried.

Added (1). I like dropped it in the bathtub upside down so only the top (covered by a case) was dipped in the water, but then it sunk in for like a split second, so the bottom with the charger part and speakers got wet too.

If it seemed to work then great, things like room temp and humidity can effect the methods effectiveness. Only get worried if it stops working properly

Why didn't you just leave it in the rice for 24 hours?

Better don't use it for next 10hours oresle you will get some problems in future or while charging your mobile may burn also so go for safe method

The idea is to remove the battery as soon as possible, then leave the phone in a bowl or jar of rice for 24 hours. But iPhone batteries are not so easy to remove. With the battery removed, it becomes easier for the rice to absorb moisture in the phone.
