Erasing all content and data off of iphone?
I currently switched phones and am trying to get all my text, photos and videos onto my new device. When i got the phone i had an old back up so all my current info on the old phone was not transferred over. I recently backed up all my current info, if i erase all content and data off the new phone will i be able to do an icloud back up and get everything into the new phone?
Yes you will IF you have enough space on your iCloud to do a full backup from your old iPhone. You may need to use iTunes on a pc\mac and do a backup and restore with that.

If you erase all content & data, you do exactly that.
How you transfer the backup data depends on the phone it is going to. Assuming it is an Android phone there's an app available for that.
