Fastest way to back up photos from iphone to thumbdrive or onto computer?

I've got 4, 698 combined pics n vids and my phones been running slow so i got picbox and am currently trying to back them up on there but its been talking forever and with the high volume its gonna be impossible to check each pic separately to make sure its backed before I delete it.Id rather earase my photos on picbox back my phone pics n vids on a thumbdrive or on my comp then sync them onto picbox since i don't trust picbox on my phone as much sinceit relies on signal strength and it could skip something. When i tried uploading onmy comp before itwas also taking forever id rather just select all then cut and paste into a folder

Do you have a USB cable for your phone, my friend? If so, simply connect your phone to your computer then open up Computer, or My Computer, dependent on which version of Windows you have installed. You should see something along the lines of Removable Disk or the name of your phone. Double-click on this to open it up, and you should be able to see either the photos, if they're on the root of the memory of your phone, or folders that contain the photos. (Double-click if you need to open a folder.)

If you wish to copy everything, hold down the Ctrl key and press A. This will highlight everything. Press Ctrl and C. This will copy everything. Go back to your desktop and right-click on an area that doesn't contain icons, select New > Folder. Call the folder Temp or photos or any name that you like. Double-click on the folder that you've just made to open a window. Right-click and select Paste, or use the keyboard shortcut which is Ctrl and V.

If everything copies correctly you can then delete the files from your phone.
