Finding a stolen iPhone 7 plus?
Let's say it has iCloud and find my iPhone, if the theft turns it off immediately will the iPhone be able to be tracked or will it just show the last location of the iPhone?
I hope they catch you the instant you try to use it other than finding the owner and returning it!
When they try to track it (owner), it will show that the phone is offline. However, I believe iCloud can show the last known location.
iCloud isn't a magical thing that can track dead or offline phones as some people seem to believe.
If it's off, there's no location, last or otherwise.
It would show the last location. But it should be turned on eventually. People don't steal iPhones to be paperweights.

I guess there are apps that trace down the phone even if sim card is replaced by another. We have it in android. As iphone has more variety of apps, it should also have such apps.

I had the find my iPhone and was able to trace the phone at a Starbucks today but after that it has been ofline. What is the probability of finding my iPhone? If the person that has it decides to keep it to themselves but have it off or take the battery out of it? Will sprint be able to trace the phone if the person already took the battery out?
