Finding house number on maps?
I'm on Google Maps, looking directly at the house of the person who stole my iPhone (tracked through Find My iPhone).
I'm too far away to go to their local police station and show a screenshot, so I want to call them and tell them the address. I know the street name, but not the number of the house. How can I find the exact house number?
Send them the URL address from Google maps. When they paste it into their web browser they will get the exact address from their data base. But all patrol police know their areas just by looking at the photo, part of the job.
Or if you have one of those lost/stolen phone apps you could give them access to the account and they could track the phone movement in real time.

- Lost my iphone? Probability of finding it? Lost my iPhone on a mountain trail this weekend. I had the find my iPhone and was able to trace the phone at a Starbucks today but after that it has been ofline. What is the probability of finding my iPhone? If the person that has it decides to keep it to themselves but have it off or take the battery out of it? Will sprint be able to trace the phone if the person already took the battery out? I'm thinking of just activating my old phone for now.
