Fitbit One vs Up by Jawbone?

I'm considering buying either the FitBit One (or Flex when it releases) or Up by Jawbone. I was wondering if I could get some opinions about both to help make my decision. The only problem with Up, as far as I can tell, is that I do not have an iPhone, but I do have an iPod touch. Does Up require internet to use the wristband?

Firbit One is good.

  • Why are one of my radios not receiving RBDS and one is? I have a FM transmitter for my iPhone and it happens to transmit the name of the song over RBDS. When I have my cell phone with a radio inside it within about 10 feet of it it picks up the name of the song as well. My other Insignia Tabletop HD radio also has a RBDS (not to confuse with HD) tuner in it. For some reason that radio, even when the antenna is touching the transmitter antenna, does not pull it up. Is there any reason why this happens?
  • What's the best Fitbit to get? What are their differences? I have seen my friends withthem and seem awesome. I just joined weight watchers and have been slowly but surley loosing weight. I want to buy one, possibly on Amazon prime but there are so many choices. I have an Iphone 6 plus. Would like it to track my cal burned steps and stairs. Not so worried about heart rate because id on't really know why I need to know that.
  • Upcoming iPhone 5S or HTC One? Which one would you get? I'm confused between the two. I have to get a new phone because my S4 has a lot of problems, so I will be changing my phone in October. Which one would you suggest?
  • IPhone 4S display vs HTC One X display: which one is better? According to Apple and other sources, at 300 pixels per inch, the human eye can't distinguish between individual pixels, and with 326ppi, the Retina Display is comfortably over that 300ppi limit. But the HTC One X is 312ppi, also above the 300ppi limit, so does that technically make it a "Retina" display? (The One X also has a 1280x720 res while iPhone 4S has 960x640)
