Fluctuations in the Wi-Fi signal could be explained by internal damage to the iPhone, or it is the fault of the service provider. True/false?

If the strength of Wi-Fi signal is fluctuating throughout the day it could only happen for 2 reasons:-

(1) There's internal damage to your iPhone which is affecting the strength of Wi-Fi signal

OR

(2) Your service provider is deliberately varying the strength of Wi-Fi signal, which means that the signal would tend to fluctuate throughout the day

OR

(3) Both (1) and (2)

Those are the only possible reasons to explain variations in the strength of Wi-Fi signal.

True or false?

What about external interference?

Hold one foot up and stick out your tongue while trying to get a better signal. If that doesn't work, I guarantee it WILL work if you hold both feet up

False. I doubt those are the only causes of the fluctuation.

I would add bad weather conditions, if the Wi-Fi signal must travel outdoors.

Yeah and those 30 other people standing around you watching youtube and netflix have no impact on your signal strength.

Are you actually stupid or are you putting on an act

False. While either of those reasons is remotely possible, it is not likely to be either one. It could be interference from other electronics, changing atmospheric conditions, or many other factors. Even if it is the service provider, it is not necessarily deliberate.

Both are possible but many more come into play.

other signals and just moving will change it.

this will help

True, soon you'll have to pay more for decent Wi-Fi, pay for access, pay for speed etc. Phone the provider, when I phone mine I talk to a person in the Philippines and they can access my internet box in my home.

There's the radio signal between your phone and the router, which varies based on the strength of both, plus distance and whatever obstacles might be between you (like walls, electrical junctions, and other items on the network. Then there's also the speed of the broadband coming into your router, which does vary based on traffic times and isp policies. Try plugging a laptop or desktop directly into the router with Ethernet and turn off it's Wi-Fi, then run the same speed test on it and your phone at the same time. Thst'll show you what's coming into the router and how much of it is getting to your phone. Then unplug the second device's Ethernet and turn it's Wi-Fi back on, and run the same test. If they're both way slower than the wall, you know it's probably the router. If it's just one or the other, it could be the device, or or it could just be you need to move the router to a more central location.
