Surprisingly, a lot of people want to do more than just own an expensive piece of technology. They want to do crazy stuff like eat food and sleep in a bed and keep put of the weather in a building of some sort
You can't eat an iphone, wear it, live in it or drive it to work. $1000 a month isn't wnough to live in most places. By the way, you can buy an iphone, but it's not much use without service.
That number would be relevant if it were based on the average
pay for that area or country.
