For someone who never had a smartphone, is the iphone 5s a good start?
Very excited about getting my first smartphone! Should I go with iphone 5s?
For someone who has never had a smartphone, any smart phone is a big upgrade. My wife went from a regular phone to a Defy XT, which is no where near the level of a iPhone or advanced Android phone, but she loves it.
Yes it is a very good start. Compared to android models it is easier and the apps are less likely to fail. Its just that they are expensive.

- What language should I start with to start developing iOS apps? If I want to develop iPhone apps, should I learn Python first or just go straight to objective C or learn something else? I have 0 programming skills and have only done some web development. I have a Mac and Xcode.
