Found an iPhone 4/4s SAFE TO USE?

I found it on a bleacher by a football field.
There's a lock code on it but i do know how to restore it & what not.
I have had it for a couple of weeks and just want to now if it is safe to use.
No one has tried calling it but i'm afraid they might track it down and i might get charged or something?
i tried contacting people but no one seems to know who's it is or anything

Why the hell you dared if you found it? You might et in small trouble but bro u found it. Not steal it.

Take to police station or telephone apple and tell them what has happened, the imei will tell them who I belongs too.

The IMEI number might get you in trouble if you try to use it. If the user has the phone insured, it might be traced and you will get in trouble for unauthorised usage… So take it to the police… DO NOT TRY TO BE SHERLOCK HOMES AND TRY TO UNLOCK AND USE.

Keep it and use it as iPod if you're afraid that someone's going to track it.
