Galaxy S3 or S4 or iPhone 5 or 5S: Which one is right for me?

So I have never owned a smartphone, I've always stuck with cheaper things to just talk and text. But I've decided I'll be making the switch, but I'm not sure which phone to get. I love Apple products, I own the retina Macbook Pro and I absolutely love it. I trust Apple, but I'm keeping all my options open. Obviously the S3 is a great phone, and I've heard multiple great things about it. And I'm a big fan of how it looks. But, at the same time, I'm also questioning whether or not I should just wait for the updated versions of these phones? I don't have their previous models obviously, and I waited for the retina macbook pro so I could wait for these. But what would anyone suggest? I'll be using it for obvious social media on the go, emailing and what not. And I'm looking to go through T-mobile because I don't do the whole contract thing. Any and all advice would be appreciated, thanks!

I personally have and love the iPhone 5. There's no iPhone 5S, by the way, the iPhone 5 comes with Siri. I love the maps function and they fixed the battery life, I only have to charge mine once every 4-5 days or so. If you don't want the different chargehole, you can get the adapter. The only thing that I would mention to give you hesitation is if you keep your phone in your pocket and your pockets are small. I'm a girl, and most of my clothes have either minuscule or no pockets, so I just carry my phone and some money around with me in a little bag. Hope this helped.

I'm a 100% Apple guy, but I'll be honest with you here, right now, the best option on the market is really the Samsung S4. The good news is that Apple will realize the competition's there, then improve its iPhone to compete with the S4. If I were you, I would wait until the iPhone 5S/6. That's what I'm doing.
