Galaxy S4 Active or iPhone 4?

My mom said that I could get either Galaxy S4 Active or an iPhone 4

I personally like the iPhone, but it is very limited, the iPhone 4 is an old version and the galaxy runs on android which is much more user friendly, I personally prefer the iPhone 5 that I'm running for my webshow, but for everyday use along with power, and of you plan on gaming or using a lot of demanding applications, I recommend the S4.

I had the iPhone 3 then the 4, currently use the iPhone 5.

While I wouldn't trade my 5 for an S4 Active…
If it was going to be my first smart phone and I had to choose between an iPhone 4 or 5 and the S4 Active, I think I'd go with the S4 Active.

Previous Galaxy's or Android devices had response issues with the touch screen causing a noticeable lag when playing games. (Part of the reason I went Apple) It took my niece a week to get used to plating Temple Run on an iPad when she had been playing it on her phone for a while because the iDevice versions make you turn right away when on Android you had to account for the lag…

BUT that is now gone in the latest generation of Android devices. And some of the features on S4 sound cool, hands free answering, auto pause video when you look away…
Add the fact that AT&T's Active version is waterproof (to a point) and maybe a little more shock resistant than regular S4…

I'd go with the S4 Active.

I can't decide between the iPhone 5S, the iPhone 5C, the Samsung Galaxy S4, or the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. I kind of like the Note 3 because it is big and the features are very cool.
