Getting an iPhone 4s, tips and recommendations?

So I think I want to buy an iPhone 4s. I absolutely love my iPod and use it all the time, and if it were my cell phone I would have everything I need. Problem is, my iPod is super old and breaking down and it's really annoying to carry around both my cell phone and iPod.

So, my question is, would you recommend the iPhone 4s?
Any tips for getting it?

This would be my first smartphone too.

I would totally recommend the iPhone 4S. Here are a few reason why I Would recommend any iPhone:

-With iPhones you have a place to go and get one on one technical support in person. So it makes getting your questions answered that much easier.

-If you purchase your iPhone from an Apple Store you get what they call Personal Set-up. That means that when you leave the store they would have already helped you set up email, and apple ID, transfered your contacts and given you a brief getting started tutorial on the product… And even better is that they do it FOR FREE.

-The 4S in particular is amazingly fast so you can multitask as much as you want. Because of the fast processor it rarely ever lags or moves slow.

-Apple offers an extended warranty called Apple Care Plus which can only be purchased at an Apple Store at the time of the product purchase. What that does is give you 2 years of unlimited over the phone tech support, Give you a 2 year warranty where Apple will replace your device with a new one for any manufactured defects, AND you get two incidents of either accidental physical or liquid damage where they will replace your iPhone for $49 instead of the $199 that you'd spend if you came in with the same damage and didn't have the extended warranty. The warranty is a one time payment of $99 and I totally recommend it if you are getting an iPhone.

Hope This Helps.

I have an iPhone 4s. I love my phone. It does everything I need and more. But my only problem is that the blue tooth doesn't work at all

Sell it on ebay and use that money for a Galaxy SIII. Seriously though the galaxy sIII is a much superior phone and the iphone 4s is really outdated at this point. If you have to get an iphone wait two months and get the iphone 5 or at lest the 4s will be cheaper…

Oh Jeremy, the iphone 4s can't multitask fully, it is only a pseudo (fake) multitasking feature. Android is the only OS with true multitasking (in Android 4.0 and 4.1). Also the snapdragon 4s processor in the galaxy sIII is FAR superior to the one in the phonetic 4s (just look at the benchmarks… )

  • Tips for getting my hands on an iPhone please? I saw the police officer at my school and saw a nice iPhone in her drawer and asked her about it and she told me that it had been missing and unclaimed for months and that if it wasn't claimed it would just go up for auction… Is there anything I could say to convince her to give it to me?

  • Recommendations for iPhone 4s cases? I need a durable, affordable, cute iPhone case. I don't want an otterbox or otterbox style case (too expensive and boy-ish). I currently have a wallet-style fold-over case, but it always gets in the way when I'm trying to take pictures. Any suggestions? Durability (Protective) Affordable Cute
