Gifs not playing on twitter?
I have an Android so i thought maybe only iphones can view gifs on twitter but every time i click on an image it says media could not be played
You probably arent downloading it correctly. You have to make sure you save the source as a gif. If you save it as any other type of file it just saves one frame. I'm not sure if twitter can play gifs, but if it can thats your problem
Try and see if your app needs to be updated? Being able to use GIFs for twitter is a new feature. If your app is even slightly outdated it may not work. If this isn't the problem then I have no idea
- Why don't GIFS show up on my iphone? So i have an iphone 3G and i have it updated to the latest version but, whenever i'm on my tumblr app or my weheartit app the gifs on my phone don't show. Why is it like this? I have had the apps updated as well.
- What is a good app to store/categorize gifs? I have an iphone, a macbook, and a microsoft surface. I'm looking for a cloud based app that I can access from each of these devices (or at least the apple products). The topper would be if I could easily export gifs into text messages from this app. So far I've just tried dropbox. Unsatisfied with the interface and storage fees. Any advice appreciated!

- Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
