It's 100% my voice no autotune i sing in Smule Karaoke it's an app in iPhone were you can sing if you liked it follow me on it LiannaOfficial and Subscribe my YouTube channel 1Liannah1 ( i haven't upload any video only one that's very old but i will upload when I have time )
I think it's great! Very unique and I feel like it could be very outstanding if you just fix on the pitching. Are you holding back at all while singing? Just try and let it go and be confident while you sing! It really changes a lot. It possibly could be the song choice- try some other styles of singing and see which is best!
I think your voice is very good and harmonius. Congratulations
This is the problem that you have at the moment. You aren't singing in the same key as the music that you are singing to.
This is what you need to be able to do to be a professional singer.
1 Sing in tune. Autotune is for slight variations in tuning it isn't going to help someone who basically can't sing in the same key as the background music, that problem needs specialist help.
2 You need to even up the sound of your voice so that all the words are on the same kind of tone. This takes years of practice and lessons with a qualified voice coach.
3 There are natural singers, but even natural singers need lessons on diction and breath control. You aren't a natural singer (because of the tuning issues) so how do you expect to get any better without lessons?
4 Professional singers can sing in tune without any background music to help them pitch.
5 Professional singers are professional because people pay to listen to them sing. This means that people like to listen to them. I listened to half of your recording and then stopped because the tone of your voice and the out of tune singing is not pleasant on the ears. In other words the way that you sing at the moment isn't going to make anyone want to pay to hear you sing. (They might pay to hear you stop singing.)
This might all sound harsh to you, but what would you rather hear. That you are a wonderful singer with lots of potential only to find out in a few years that some people don't tell the truth on Y! A or don't know enough about music to give you any useful advice, or have some advice about how to become the singer that you dream about being.
What I would suggest is that instead of dreaming about one day waking up and finding that you can sing, that you take some direct action to make sure that one day you actually are able to sing well.
Your first step is to go for some singing lessons, with a qualified singing teacher, to learn to sing in tune, correct breath control, voice production, posture, how to look after your voice, etc. The voice is like any other musical instrument you have to learn how to make it sound its best, so that people really want to listen to you sing. When you get to this stage, people will ask you to sing for them. You won't need to post recordings on Y! A or youtube because you will be being asked to sing in performances. This is another benefit that a teacher gives you. They create opportunities for you to sing. The lessons have to be with a teacher who is in the same room as the one you are singing in.
- You think I could buy a iPhone 5 if i work what you guys think? You guys think that if i work at McDonald or any store i can afford to buy the iPhone 5? And pay every month
- Will my singing voice sound better recorded on a professional mic in a studio? & does it get edited? All I have to record me singing is my iPhone & I think I sound awful over that & it makes me sad & say horrible things that I suck
- Why does my singing voice sound so different when recorded? When I sing on the voice memo thing on my iPhone my voice sounds kinda odd. It doesn't really sound that good. When I sing out load or on a microphone my voice sounds really good. Like, I just downloaded a microphone app and when I sang into it I can hear my voice live And it sounded good. Why does it sound different when I record it on my iPhone? It's not off pitch or anything it just seems weird and less "singy" I can't really explain it.
- When you give APPLE a defective IPHON do they give you a reconditioned one back? My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired. Now the replaced IPHONE has a problem, different than the previous problem I'm now having a problem with the taking a photo. Do they just replace your phone with a reconditioned one they say no but?
