CLASH OF CLANS! The most addictive one on iphone from my point of view. Another could be sims freeplay. That is a good one too. But clash of clan rocks! Even game of war is good. Though i didn't find game of war so engaging as clash of clans. But you can check it out.

If story matters, try Ace Attorney: Phoenix Wright Trilogy HD. Now, you can try it for free, but the rest of the episodes are a bit expensive. However, they worth every cent you might invest in this game.
You play as a defense attorney and your mission is to prove your client is not guilty in various trials. This might sound boring but it's not. The story will keep you engaged with major turning points and you will want to make the necessary deductions to prove your client's innocence in the crime and find the real culprit.
It's not really a "game" but a visual novel, where you make the detective work and you have to come up with the right theory. You asked for addicting games, might not be looking for this kind of game, but this was the only iPhone "game" that kept me playing through countless hours.
