Good apps for making edits on vine?

I want to start making One Direction, 5sos and o2l edits on vine.

And I was wondering what apps I could use to do so? Preferably ones that don't cost money.

I have the iPhone 5s and a Macbook, so apps for either one would work.

Wht is a good way to start making edits on an iPhone 4? I want to learn how to make edits and how to edit photos on my iPhone 4. That's all. I know how to use filters and crop though.
What websites or apps (on Iphone) do I use do make cool fan edits? On Instagram I have an ariana grande fan account and its not that good bc I don't know how to make good edits, or where. Help me?
