Got A Fake iPhone 4S. What Can I Do?

My boss purchased a iPhone 4S for about £200, only to find out it was a fake.

He knows I'm computer techie and so he happily gave me his iPhone 4S to help him set it up. As soon as he gave it to me, I realised it was fake. I even looked online and I confirmed to him it was a fake.

He can't return it, because the person who sold it to him when he was working behind the till at the off license. In addition to this, it is obvious the guy has done a runner and there isn't much we can do with CCTV footage.

I feel bad for my boss to fall victim because he is in his 50s is such an innocent guy.

I'm thinking of installing android on it and then giving it to him, unless I can put iOS on it.

What can I do?

Nothing he got rigged

That's why people should only buy iphones directly from the apple store.
He just got ripped off.

Report it to the police anyway and although you may not get the money back at least if you can get some form of justice it will stop them from trying it again.
