Got a new laptop, having trouble with iTunes/iPhone syncing?

Okay so I got a new Samsung laptop with Windows 8, i5 processor, all that good stuff. I downloaded iTunes and it worked fine until I tried to put the music I have on my iPhone onto my laptop. It only transferred the songs that I have bought from the cloud, but none of the songs that I have on there from my last computer, which were all from good old fashioned CDs. I've since gotten rid of most of those CD's, but I still want those songs on my laptop, Why can't I just sync all of my phone library to my computer? Am I doing something wrong?

You can sync your songs from your iPhone to your new iTunes library ONLY using a third-party application to be downloaded on your laptop (such as Syncios). If you have already synced your iPhone to your iTunes library and all songs on your iPhone were deleted, there's nothing you can do now, I'm afraid.

Every time I plug either device into my laptop my Itunes either freezes or says it's "determining tracks to sync" for an infinite amount of time.   • ITunes syncing to new laptop And I'm worried about syncing my iphone 5 to the laptop in iTunes and loosing everything is their a way that I can plug it into the new laptop without loosing everything? :/ I also have an old version of iTunes on my old laptop so will this affect it? :/
