Got a used iPhone, switching to AT&T?
My friend is giving me his old iPhone, but I'm not an AT&T customer. I have an android on Metro PCS and I want to switch to AT&T to use the iPhone. How do I got about in doing this? What would be the monthly costs if I wanted unlimited talk/text on this iPhone? Please, someone give me a detailed answer.
Since you will be bringing the phone without subsidized (ie you own it fully), you can get on for $110 which will be the cheapest for unlimited talk/text and 300 MB of data.
Another option would be to sign up for Straight Talk prepaid, which uses AT&T's towers (they are an MVNO) for $45/month for unlimited talk/text/data.
- Used Iphone 4 used for Wi-Fi only? I'm thinking about buying an iphone 4, but i plan on using my wi-fi instead of getting a plan. Will I be able to do this? I'm going to be buying the Iphone used. Please don't ask why not just buy an ipod, the person who is selling it to me is giving it at a good price. & also, the seller had at&t. If decide to activate the iphone will i have to activate it wity at&t?
- If i get a iphone 4 (used) can it be used like new? If I buy a used iPhone 4 will I be able to use it like its new and make a iTunes account get apps etc?
- I just got an iPhone and I've already used a ton of data? I'm on a 2gb data plan and I only got 2 because I have Wi-Fi at home. Even though I have the Wi-Fi, even when my phone is idle, it is still using up my data. I don't know what is going on with it but is there any way to get this under control or some kind of app to help out with this? Thank you Sora! That sounds like the best thing I could do. Now this is my first smart phone so I still have so much to learn about this.
- I have only used up 2.1 gigs on my iPhone 4s, but my storage settings say I have used 5.4? Why is this happening? I have definitely not used 5.4 gigabytes; I have checked everything on my phone. Would someone please explain this?
