Do you consider this controlling behavior?
I'm up for an upgrade on my phone. I'm happy with my carrier and have looked at phones. Before I looked, I told my boyfriend that I did not want an Iphone. I personally do not like them, though I understand why some people do. I have an Ipad, so I do know how the basic navigation goes. I looked at phones, including the Iphone and still liked other phones better. I told my boyfriend. He told me that I should wait to get a phone and that I needed to go with him. I questioned it for a while and he was finally like, "Iphones are the best and your carrier sucks. I got you an Iphone already because I want you to have the best. You are just being stubborn. " He continued to argue the point… I told him I was appreciated gesture, but I really didn't want the phone or to change carriers. He didn't listen to me at all… He continued to tell me that I needed to be educated, as to why they were the best, etc. What do you think? Please be polite. Thanks!
Not throwing other aspects of our relationship into this, just wanting an opinion on this event. We're both in our 20s.
I'm not a guy but thats controlling, he should let you choose what phone you want, its your phone, not his
He's not only being controlling, but he's being obnoxious, conceded, and close-minded. Tell him to let it go or you will let him go.
I'm a guy and when I have an opinion I express it in the strongest terms possible. I don't mean to be harsh but it can seem that way. Let him know you appreciate him looking after you but you it's really a matter of money and logistics.
Yes, I would consider his behavior very controlling in this instance. He did not consider your opinion or preferences, and this was your phone choice to make, not his. He not only told you what to do, he called you stubborn for having a different opinion and then he went and did it his way for you! Yikes! To me that's not only controlling, it's disrespectful. I'm betting this is not the only time in your relationship he had behaved like this.

- What do you consider a good game? I'm looking into developing a iPhone/Android/Other application game. Nothing big like GTA V, I don't have that kind of developing skills, time or money. Just a casual game like Angry Birds. But all in all just name some games that you like, so I have an idea what people like.
- Is there an app for controlling a projector? I have a Sharp PG-MB66X projector with no remote. Is there a mobile app to download from the Google Play Store or from the iPhone app store to work as a controller?
