How to tell if a shy guy likes you through text?

So me and this guy live far from each other but we stay in touch through texting. We're both going to be juniors in high school. We went to the same school in ninth grade, and we were friends, but not that close. Then, this past May, after a whole year of not talking to him, I accidentally texted him when I was trying to text my friend (group-messaging problems on iPhone haha). Since then, we gradually texted each other more and more frequently, and now we text every day. He always starts the conversation with a good morning text every single morning. He is a shy guy, and has a few really close friends, and I became one of his close friends this summer. So he really opens up to me. How do I know if he likes me through text? (let me know if you need more detail to answer this question)

Yes he is interested especially if he is sending you a good morning text every morning and wants to hang out with you and he is opening up to you.a lot of guys don't like to open up to just anyone. So if you r interested to, then try flirting.
