Happy people. How do you do it?
I'm always either hateful or depressed… How do you do it? And don't say "Just do it". I feel its impossible for me. What if you haven't felt happiness for over 2 years. How do you get it back? Just to be clear, I want no self pity. I understand I'm not the only one who hates their life. I have a roof over my head. I have food to eat. I have this Iphone to complain my problems to you… I know I have alot. Nobody should feel sorry for me. I have just forgotten what it's like to be happy is all…
-That's Easy! I simply look around at all the Messed up & Unhappy People I See & Hear about EVERY Day… -And suddenly, I begin to Feel a LOT better!
Be yourself and do not waste the person you are.
Do what you like in life.
It's good you want no self-pity. What you don't have is self-humor at your occasional errors that tick you off. Once you find out you're human like the world around you, you'll go easy on yourself and find that elusive happiness which is besides you all this time.
Take a hobby like jogging, change things up.
@Joseph, yeah, i'm sure when people see me they feel better about themselves. That makes sense. But you gotta realize i'm wanna those people that "make you feel better" so that doesn't help me. Not like I need it. I'm strong. I'm just trying to remember what happiness is.
1) Become organized by using a planner, calendar, etc to gain control of your life. This helps you achieve things you want or need to do. It also gives a sense of peace knowing when and how you will get everything done.
2)make time to exercise (even write it in to your planner) . Whether it's walking, running, biking, swimming, hiking, other sports, etc, there's something out there that you can have fun doing. Exercising makes you stronger and healthier physically, but it plays a huge role in the health of your mind. It reduces stress, and makes you feel better in the short and long run.
3)talk to somebody that you trust and feel comfortable around about your unhappiness. Even the act of telling others mak eyou feel better.
4) seeing a specialist in this is a good idea to, since they will be able to help you, possibly more, than a friend.
5) keep a positive mind set,
6) read self help books.
I really hope this helps you
"Just to be clear, I want no self pity. I understand I'm not the only one who hates their life. I have a roof over my head. I have food to eat. I have this Iphone to complain my problems to you"
FINALLY! Someone who realises he/she's not in the worst possible situation. We need more people like this. PEOPLE C'MON! No more "Oooh, my life is the worst!" or "Everyone's life is better than mine!" BULLS**T!
*Sigh*
Ok, rant over.
To answer your question, try doing something you enjoy, join a club and meet new people. Friends are the greatest source of happines.
Stay well.
- Why is Happy Street crashing? I have an iphone 4 and I just downloaded happy street and whenever I open it, it will crash right away, I have tried deleting and re getting it and i also shut down my phone and turned it back on. What do I do?
- What is the game on iphones where you are the president and there are three different groups of people and you have to keep them all happy? In this game one of the three groups asks you if they can build something such as a school and if you say yes it could make one group angry but if you say no it can make a different group angry so you have to try to keep it balanced.
- Sudden Mean Grandpa No Happy B-Day? I just turned 14 (my birthday was a few weeks ago) and I used to have an amazing grandpa. He used to buy me whatever I wanted ($150+) for my birthday and Christmas. When this birthday came along, (It's the same as my cousin) I got NOTHING. NOT EVEN A HAPPY BIRTHDAY! He didn't forget. And you know why? My 6 year old cousin got a FREAKIN' IPHONE 5!
- Is it normal for a man to be happy with only 4 inches in his pants? I've been seeing much hype about how bigger is better. Apparently, consumers supposedly want more inches. Yet, I'm quite fine with the 4 inch screen on my phone. It fits easier in my pants pocket. Now Apple might be going over 5 inches. I don't want something that big in my pocket. If I want a bigger screen, I'll just use a laptop/desktop/tablet device.
