Hard case or silicon for iPhone 4s?

I have a question, i bought a apple 4s this last month and i'm wondering which is the best case to protect against dropping, dirt and etc. Is it hard case or a silicon one?

You should pick an silicon case, they offer better protection and also after time, hard case also scratches your phone. I used an hard case an while back, i dropped my phone and the case shattered on impact. And my phone was still slightly damaged.

I went to best buy and I bought something like those otter cases for
Droids but it's called life proof or something like that, it's like 70 bucks but it's water, shock, dust, dirt, and scratch proof. I love it. Just a suggestion.

  • Will a hard plastic iPhone 5 case fit an iPhone 5S? I've ordered an iPhone 5s, and I want to buy a case for it, but the one I want is sold as for the iPhone 5, will it work or will I be wasting my money?
  • Will a hard case scratch the back of the iPhone 5? I'm saving up for an iPhone 5, and I want to get a few cases but i'm not sure if the hard case will scratch the back of the iPhone. I really want to keep it in top condition for as long as I can. <3
  • Which protects the iphone better Silicone or Hard Case cover? For example if I dropped it would the force be transferred to the phone more readily when using a hard cover?
  • Where to find good hard cover iPhone 3GS case? Hi, I'm looking for a hard cover case for my iPhone 3GS. I would like the front part of the cover to be raised a little higher than the screen in the front so in case it falls on the floor, it won't land on the screen. What brands, websites, or stores do you recommend? I'm only looking for HARD COVER cases, so no silicone or rubberlike materials. I don't want anything more expensive than $25. Thanks!
