Has anyone else noticed that apple commercials don't diss other companys
Every time i see a phone or tablet commercial for a brand other than apple they're always using ipads and iphones and making them look bad but when i see an apple commercial its classy and doesn't refer or hint to another phone company any other people notice or know why this is?
i feel its because iphones and ipads have the reliability and quickness that we all need thus making them a top tier electronic company if not the top electronic company so they don't need to make other brands look worse because they already are. Like the samsung galaxy S4 it's main campaign was how you cantouch the phones together and share but they're was an app for that like 5 years ago on iphone(bump app).
(not talking about pc vs mac only tablet and phone)
That's because iPhone/iPad is an established product with strong market position. As you note with Mac vs. PC, it's not corporate culture - that's a distinct "we're different and better" ad campaign, from the same company. Macs still aren't the dominant computing platform, so they had to make that argument.
It's marketing. I remember this from 1984.
At the time, Apple was attempting to break into the IBM PC market. You have to distinguish yourself from the crowd. The easiest way is to use an us against them attitude.
Apple had a big lead in apps, but the Google Play store were the first to 1 mil (July - Apple 0.9 in June), but Apple app revenues are 3 or 5 times Google's. They have the cash, so they can put out the classier ads. High end apps typically get released on iOS before Android, but for developers this is just a numbers game. They may get more return from Apple than Google, but as the number of Android phones increase, developers will release on both platforms.
Every time a bench mark is put forward, Android catches up and surpasses Apple. The many is always going to do catch the one.
To be honest, I have a GS4, so I'm biased.
- I don't if it's just me that noticed about this on the iPhone X? So Apple is having trouble with their true depth camera for the iPhone X, what I don't get is why are they struggling? They already had models that the true depth camera works. And tim cook already has an iPhone x!
- Have you noticed how apple's reputation went down hill after Steve Jobs died? It's like they don't know what they're doing any more. A 5.5" Phone really? Made with some metal that bends easily, steve would have put in more thought if he was still alive. The iPhone 4 was beautiful and when it came out everyone wanted one. They are only £50 second hand now
- Has anyone else had this problem? So i have an iphone 4s and i can't send text messages to android users 3 times already i've been to the apple store and the sprint store and they say there's nothing they can do to really fix the problem its aggravating me.
- Has anyone else had this iPhone 5 problem? I've had my iPhone 5 since November. Since then, I've been through around maybe 6 different charging cords. They'll work for a few weeks and then stop charging correctly. I've bought so many chargers I've probably paid more in chargers than I did for the actual phone. Should I call AT&T or apple or does anyone know any possible fixes?
