Has capitalism done more to raise the standard of living across the board than any other economic system in history?

Even our poor, for the most part, have a roof over their heads. They have electricity. They have food and even internet access. Hell, I even saw a homeless guy with an iPhone. It was only a 4, but still…

Yes and it isn't even close

Yes, but for some reason liberals hate it.

Obviously. The less capitalism there's the more poverty there's.

Globalization has lifted hundreds of millions out of abject poverty

I collect $194 in SNAP benefits and $220 in cash benefits. Section 8 pays all but $11 of my $1035 rent. I also have a free smart phone that is paid by the federal government. Capitalism? Whatever…

Man I'm in the United States and I get 200 in food stamps, Section 8 Public housing Rent is free because I don't work, I'm in school for Engineering at the local community college and I sell Dope, my phone and healthcare is taken care of by the government. I'm in Miami with my peoples right now enjoying life. My girlfriend that lives with me puts extra money away for retirement for me since, I'm providing her a place to stay free of any bills any worries lol. Welp got to go, I'm about to get into the water I'm at the beach!

ABSOLUTELY! No other system even comes close.

It works when government to an extent gets the hell away from it, then the system gives you the opportunity to be successful.

Not if you look at the entire planet. Fractional Reserve Banking has though. The "west" is rich because it's deep in debt, and the poor countries are poor because they can't get that deep in debt - and because multinational corporations don't pay decent prices for work and resources
