Having trouble charging my Iphone 4?

My Iphone only charges when it's off and I have no idea why. I didn't drop my phone only went outside and then it suddenly wouldn't charge and I figured out that my phone will only charge when It's off and I have an issue with that cause I can't use my phone when it's off and I can't back up my phone to the computer. Any ideas why? Or how to fix this issue?

Yeah that sounds weird. I never actually even shut my iphone off ever. Maybe try upgrading it to the new iOS which was recently released, maybe that will help fix it. Try the car charger chord also once to see if it responds the same just to check it a different way.

Every time I open it; it closes straight away. I've tried deleting the app & re installing it but that doesn't work.   • IPhone 5 having trouble sending group messages and pictures? I just got a brand new iPhone 5 from AT&T. Whenever I try to send a group message, the sending bar gets almost to the very end, and then stops and says "Message Send Failure". I try to resend it multiple times, but it still doesn't work. Also, it won't send pictures at all. The same thing happens. Is there any way I can fix this, or do I need to take it back to the store?
  • IPhone 4s Having trouble syncing with iTunes? I got some new songs today on my iTunes. I plugged in my 4s, and an error message popped up saying: "An unexpected error occurred.error code (0XE800084) Can someone help? I've restored my phone, tried a new cable, tried every usb port.
  • I'm having trouble with my App Store on my iPhone 4S? On the App Store when I go to log in at the bottom of the page, it says unknown error. I don't know what to do, apple support UK is closed at the moment and my provider O2-UK isn't giving me and help what so ever, so if anyone has a suggestion or know what's wrong please help…
