Having two gmail accounts on iPhone 4s?
I have a gmail account and another account which is via gmail but is not @gmail. So how can I add that to my iPhone 4s? It is @companyname.com instead of @gmail.com but the server is gmail.
Start by tapping Settings on the Home screen, and then tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Add Account.
To set up an e-mail account that is not a default listed provider:
1. On the Add Account screen, tap the Other button.
2. Under Mail, tap Add Mail Account. Fill in the name, address, password, and description in the appropriate fields. Tap Next.
With any luck, that's all you'll have to do, although you may have to endure a spinning cursor for awhile as the iPhone attempts to retrieve information and validate your account with your provider. Otherwise, continue with Step 3.
3. Tap the button at the top of the screen that denotes the type of e-mail server this account uses: IMAP or POP
4. Fill in the Internet host name for your incoming mail server, which should look something like mail.providername.com.
5. Fill in your username and password.
6. Enter the Internet host name for your outgoing mail server, which should look something like smtp.providername.com.
You may have to scroll down to the bottom of the screen to see the outgoing mail server fields.
7. Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields.
8. Tap the Next button in the upper-right corner to create the account.
Some outgoing mail servers don't need your username and password. Still, fill them in anyway. That way, you won't have to add them later if your outgoing mail server does require an account name and password, which many do these days.
- Two different computers, two different iTunes.can I use the same Apple ID? I have iTunes on my computer that I use for my iPhone, and my mon just got an iPod Touch and wants me to fill it for her. I'm going to use her computer to do this, which currently does not have iTunes. Once I download iTunes, can I use my own Apple ID to download songs and apps onto her iPod? Is it possible to do that without disturbing what's on my phone, or do I have to make a whole new iTunes account for her?
- Is there a way two record two instruments into an iPhone? I was planning on playing a duet with a friend where I'm on the guitar and they are on the violin and it's just something I want to post on Instagram, nothing special. Is there a cheap device or method that I can record both of us as we're playing directly into my phone?
- Is having two screen protectors on my iPhone a bad idea? I'm getting my iPhone 5 soon and I have two Otterboxes ordered: defender and commuter. I want to put the adhesive screen protector on that comes with the commuter series anyway, but if I put the defender series case on, will the two screen protectors cause a problem together (bubbles, rainbow)? In a situation where I have no case, I want to have the screen protector on.
- Is a two year contract actually two years? I just recently got a new job that will allow me to splurge a little bit and finally upgrade my phone. I hope to switch from Straight talk over to AT&T so i don't have to continue paying $300+ when I need a new phone. The iphone 6 is about $100 with AT&T s two year contract, and then I'm eligible for an upgrade. Will I be held in that two year contract or would I be able to upgrade earlier to a more recent version? How much does it generally cost to upgrade early?
