Help getting past the Apple ID credit card part?
My friend gave me his old iphone 4 after he got the 4S and i enjoyed free apps using his apple id for quite awhile, but hes off in another country now so i thought i would sign out and make my own. I signed up but every time i try to use it, it is asking me to review my account information, and there's no option to pick none. Is it just the device i'm using? (i'm using the iphone 4)
Everywhere i go seems to say that there should be a "none" option, but i don't see it. After browsing through other people's posts on various websites about a similar problem and being directed over and over to apples support page it seems that, from what i've understood so far, if you have an unreviewed/activated apple id you need a credit card, if you don't have one and are starting from scratch, then you won't need a card. I'm pretty confused. In recap, i made an apple id and every time i try to use it it wants me to review my account, but when i do there's no option to pick "none" in the credit card section. Anyway how i can fix this? If i absolutely need to i can add a card, but id rather not. If it does come to it, can i remove the card information and still have things work properly such as the app store? Free apps of course.
It's always going to ask for a credit card I just put a inactive one on mines but if you reset the phone there's a option that says no credit card and swipe that but I don't recommend it just get a iTunes card and it won't bother you I have a iphone 4

- ITunes Gift card instead of Credit Card? I found some things that i have been wanting on the iTunes store but i do not have a credit card registered with my account. If i were to buy an iTunes gift card, would that work in lieu of the credit card requirement? Also, the apps that i want to get are for the iPhone. Would buying an app with the gift card affect the plan with the phone in any way?
- Is there anyway to use my apple id without a credit card? I just got a new iphone, i created a apple id online, now when i go to get a free app on my phone it says the id has never been used before and when i click it, it says enter credit card info. How can i not use my credit card? Thanks, Dan.

- Iphone 6 plus not getting past the apple logo while charging? I have an iphone 6 plus that I stopped using for about a year now. I'm trying to switch back to it but it is completely dead. I put it on the charger and it says it is charging and every 10 or so minutes the apple logo will come on and then it goes back to the charging screen it shows when a iphone is dead. Is there any fix to this considering there was no problems before I stopped using this iphone?
