Help iPhone 4 VOLUME PROBLEM

So my iPhone, when I go on YouTube and watch a video there's no volume bar below its gone disappeared! And when I switch the left side switch ( very top left hand button) it just vibrates and then I try the buttons = +, - below it! But it just doesn't turn up or down the volume! Please SERIOUSLY Help! I've tried holding the home button and the top button to let it reset/ close! But it doesn't work!

I recently dealt with a similar issue with an iPhone having no sound in any of the apps. The way we restored sound was to connect the iPhone to a sync cable connected to a PC. Once we did that the volume slider returned. I think sometimes there are docking issues with these phones that disable the volume.

Should I put it in rice and leave it for a longer time? I also tried resetting it but it's still the same
  • IPhone 7 volume problem? So I was just listening to music on my iPhone 7 and all of a sudden the volume glitched all the way up. I tried to turn it down but whenever I would bring it down it would bring it back up. This lasted for about 5 seconds. Then about 3-5 minutes later this happened again except it went to full volume, around half way then to two. Is this just a fluke or is there something wrong? Have any other iPhone 7 users experienced this?
  • IPhone 4s volume buttons not working, how can I turn down my call volume without these buttons? My side volume buttons aren't working on my iPhone 4s and my call volume is super loud (other people can hear the person I'm on the phone with) is there any other way to turn down the call volume?
