Help my iPhone is so damn slow after updating to ios8?
Ok I THOUGHT ios 8 wouldn't ruin my iphone 5 because usually Apple only screws with the last model compatible with ios8 (which in this case is the iphpne 4s). On ios7 my phone was zippy and fast and now its lagging when I open apps and just doesn't feel as smooth as before.
Any way to fix this?
The new iOS 8 comes to be a complement to the current and redesigned version of the mobile operating system of Apple's iOS 7. Of course this new update will come to include a Control Center and center of improved notifications, we will also see new applications, functions and, in addition, will bring more fluidity and stability to compatible mobile devices.
The biggest changes may be appreciated by users with devices such as the iPad Air, iPad Retina and iPhone mini 5s, other devices may not appreciate the important and larger developments which will include 8 ios, simply find some renewed menus or the new wallpaper, in addition to a more stable operating.
Jailbreak
Possibly this could be one of the main reasons why not to upgrade because, at the time of updating to iOS 8 our device will lose the Jailbreak and therefore also we shall be without the possibility to be able to do so, at least until this tool available to do the Jailbreak the iPhone and iPad with iOS 8.
As you might expect, by the imminent arrival of iOS 8 will surely be many users who have doubts as to whether it is time to update or it is better to wait, for this reason, then will leave you some of the reasons why not to upgrade the iPhone and the iPad to iOS 8.
In the event that you want update at the time of having been published iOS 8, if it gives you error, it is recommended that you wait already that the error can be caused by the same Apple's server, due to the fact that it could collapse by the large number of requests for download. This has already happened in the past with iOS 7 and other versions of IOS, so that we can't give i ruled this possible failure.
For iPhone 4s or iPhone 5, it is not a nice choice to upgrade to iOS 8, it would slow the device.
Try to downgrade.
I don't know how to but maybe free some space, my cousin who has the iPhone 5 isn't having any lags in IPS
IOS 8
You can read the Question 15 of the most common iOS 8 update problems you may meet, in http://www.imobie.com/...utions.htm
This is why you don't update right away, you always wait several weeks. I think iOS 7 was slow also at first until they did more patches
Because apple is plotting against you. No i'm not crazy or paranoid. Over the last few years, google analytics has shown that within a week of a new iOS update being released, google searches for "iPhone slow" start popping up all over the place. Apple makes your phone slower to make you pay for a new one
- Will updating my iPhone apps affect my phone speed as how updating the Operating System (OS) will? Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?
- What's wrong with my god damn iphone? IPhone 4 *** is going to 1% battery sometimes, even when I'm charging it and won't charge. If I turn it off and leave for a day overnight it starts to work and charge again. WTF? Why such a moody iPhone? Should it slam it against the wall, what should I do to make it work always. I didn't pay hundreads of dallars to own a POS phone… I really do not like spending time on fixing stupid electronics manufactured by idiots…
- Updating jailbroken iPhone 4s iOS 5.1.1 to 6.1.3 help needed? Full story: I bought my iPhone off a friend, who previously got it on bill pay, but stopped paying the bill, so they disabled the phone. He got the phone jailbroken to bypass that, and now the phone is working properly, pay-as-you-go, but it is jailbroken. The phone will NOT work without being jailbroken. I was wondering how do I update it from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 6.1.3? (Keeping in mind it NEEDS to be jailbroken to work)
- Messages sending slow on ios8? I have an iphone 5c, and ever since i updated to ios 8, which was the first day it came out, my texts/imessages have been sending beyond slowly. When i had ios 7 they would literally send right when i pushed the send button, now it takes at least 10-25 seconds each time after i send it. I know it isn't my Wi-Fi or anything because even when i'm in another place under another Wi-Fi network, it still sends slow. Any solutions or fixes?
