Help updating iphone with iOS 7?
I'm wondering what will be lost after I update my iphone 5. I want to keep my messages, voice recordings, contacts, and notes. I also have some apps that have data saved on them such as a journal app and game apps with high scores. Will I lose all that if I have to reload the apps again?
Then I suggest you update your phone from the settings app. It saves all data.
As I know, Update iPhone will not delete any files on your iPhone. If you do afraid losing them, you can use iTunes to make a backup of your iPhone before the updating. Or you can use a 3rd party software like this iPhone file manager to transfer the files from your iPhone to computer for backup. Hope it helps you.
- Will updating my iPhone apps affect my phone speed as how updating the Operating System (OS) will? Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?
- Will updating from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 remove everything? I know that if you 'Majorly' update your iPhone it will erase everything from your iPhone like updating ios 4 to ios 6, but what if you are just updating your iPhone from ios 6.0.1 to ios 6.1.2 on the same version, is there any difference or it will also remove everything?
- Updating jailbroken iPhone 4s iOS 5.1.1 to 6.1.3 help needed? Full story: I bought my iPhone off a friend, who previously got it on bill pay, but stopped paying the bill, so they disabled the phone. He got the phone jailbroken to bypass that, and now the phone is working properly, pay-as-you-go, but it is jailbroken. The phone will NOT work without being jailbroken. I was wondering how do I update it from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 6.1.3? (Keeping in mind it NEEDS to be jailbroken to work)
- Updating iOS 6.1.3 to iOS 7 Beta? And i have an iPhone 4 running on Verizon, i'm trying to get the beta for iOS 7 because it looks really cool. I'm not computer ignorant, i just can't seem to find how to do this, my iPhone is not jailbroken or unlocked. I downloaded like 10 different files for ios 7 and they all give me an error saying they are not compatible
