Help with lightning to USB camera adapter?

I just bought a lightning to USB camera adapter to transfer pictures from my canon eos 350D camera to my iPhone 6s. When I connect the device to my phone and select the pictutes it crashes when I go to upload them. How do I get around this problem? Have I bought the right thing?

I don't think you CAN transfer photos to a phone in this way, due to the different formats.

Have a look at the link.

Phones aren't designed to be portable viewing devices like an iPad is. Their file handling structure tends to crash when used that way.

Send your photos to a sharing site in the Cloud and look at them on your phone from there. I get by OK just using places like Flikr which you can upload the photos you want to share to and specify who can see them.

Easiest way to get them from the camera is to take the card out and put it in the USB reader in the PC (or, if you don't have one already, get a cheap USB card reader.)

If you want to enhance and edit the photos before you upload then consider using the free editor www.irfanview.com/ or the powerful, but also free GIMP. Www.gimp.org/
