I really need to know how to unlock my iphone 4?
Well i don't have the original sim and only have the sim i want to unlock to, also it it on 5.1.1 and my base band is 4.12.02 any help would be much appreciated i really need to get this iphone unlocked.
If it's locked to another service provider, then your SIM card won't work with it, you'll have to take it to a phone shop or something and get it unlocked, which isn't free. It could cost up to £50 ($80-90)
This is basically no problem, you don't need the original SIM Card anyways. You can get your iPhone unlocked either directly by the original carrier (if you meet their eligibility criteria) or by one of the big online vendors like http://www.cellfservices.com/ or by a local phone repair shop (more pricey).
Depending on which carrier your iPhone is locked to, the turnaround time and the unlocking fees vary heavily so hopefully you are lucky with that ;-)
