Home security camera using webcam?
I want to install a security camera at home using web-cams connecting to a PC and upload it to the internet. So that I can access to it and stream the video live anywhere using my iPhone in real time. Is that possible and how?
It is possible, yes. There are several ways to go on this - either expensive systems set up by professionals for you with multiple webcams etc (which will mean almost no hassle to you) or to set up your own system. This is harder as it requires some setup from your side - but it is still relatively easy. Have a look at this link:

Yes you can do this. You can see videos of you home from anywhere. And this will make your home more secure. You can use your webcam or you can use external webcam which already has microphone in that and better resolution. You will be able to see more clear picture of your home.
- Wireless Security Camera w/o Wi-Fi? Does anyone know of a wireless security camera that doesn't require Wi-Fi? I was hoping to find one that would maybe put out its own signal and you could use your iPhone to view with. Maybe one that uses bluetooth? Thank you for any help! Thank you jon_mac_usa_007. That makes much more sense now as to why I couldn't find one.
- Why won't the White House security experts set President Trump up with iPhones using the Signal app? In this NY Times article they say the Presidents iPhone calls to his friends are not secure and the Chinese and maybe the Russians are monitoring them. Why don't the security experts install the Signal app on the President's phone, and tell his friends how to install it on their phones and then ask them to call using Signal?
- Which camera is better: An old General Imaging x500 Digital Camera or an iPhone 7 front camera? It looks like an iPhone only offers 7 MP while this camera boasts 16 MP but this camera is so old and looks worse at least on its own screen. I'm confused
- What is a good indoor security camera that is easy to set up and has remote access? I had a Mydlink and it was difficult to set up and didn't work for very long. I'm traveling and want to be able to check in on my dogs to make certain our house/pet sitter is doing their job. I want to use my iPhone to check in. Any ideas for a camera?
