Home surveillance cam iPhone app. GVMT spying?
I saw a security camera advertised in the Xmas circulars for very cheap. It links to your smart phone so that you can watch your property from the convenience of your device.
Since the GVMT has the right to spy on your cell phone activities, does this mean they can also surveil your property as easily as you can? Is that why the cam/phone app is so cheap? The GVMT wants it cheap so that you will buy it and THEY can watch your house?
Possibly - and you will get what you pay for. Pay little, get little.

- Why does my screen go blank when I cover the cam on my iPhone on the Skype app? I have an iPhone 5 and when I'm on Skype - even when I'm not in a call and I cover the camera my screen goes blank. It also does this when I'm on the home screen and signed into Skype but not when I log off - I don't know whether this always happens and I've just never noticed it or whether something is up? X

- I'm looking for the best home surveillance system? I want one that has wireless cameras that are solar powered so I don't have to change batteries. I want a lot of cameras not just 2-4 like most systems provide. I want the camera to have good range and night vision. I want to be able to view live from iPhone if I'm not at home. Does anyone have any good ideas on one that provides me with what I'm asking. I've researched and can't seem to find a good system.
