Horse lease issues- Help (additional)?
About 5 months ago I was leasing a horse. I paid the full two months up front because the owners would not allow day by day pay. 3 weeks into the lease I fell off and seriously got injured which resulted in not riding for 2 months for recovery. The owners said no refunds(the contract didn't mention it, but I could come back once I've recovered to finish off my lease. I'm better now and would like to finish off my lease but the owners are ignoring me and not replying to texts (I have an iPhone and shows whether a person has read your message) and phone calls. What can I do? Am I in the wrong or is the owner wrong for ignoring me and taking my money?

Yes there was a written contract that I signed (she did not give me a copy when I asked for it), I fell off a different horse not my lease horse (the horse spooked then bolted and I fell when he had a little trip), I have multiple messages that the owner said he will let me finish off the lease because they won't refund.
Just text them when you want to begin the lease again, stating you are starting the final portion of the lease. Go to the horse and start riding. You'll hear from the owner then, or just finish your lease. Keep notes on your calendar of when you start the lease again.
