How are android phones differ from iPhone and blackberry in general?

The operating system… Cellular hardware is cellular hardware, they all do the same thing in that regard. How you interact with the device is controlled by the operating system, and that is the difference.

Android phones all use the Android open-source operating system from Google. Each company's phone hardware is different, but they alter Android to work with their particular phone. In this respect Android is not developed in conjunction with the hardware development, unlike Apple that develops its hardware and software at the same time and designed to work together.

The OS of course. BlackBerry phones also run Android these days btw.

& the OEMs. Apple is the only one that runs their iOS vs Android which could be with BlackBerry, HTC, Samsung, Motorola, Lenovo, Huawei, LG etc

  • Why is the iPhone 5c so cheap? How does it differ from the 5s? I've never had an iPhone before, mostly because I think they are Way too overpriced. After I heard the iPhone 5 was coming out, I decided to see how expensive it was going to be this time. The iPhone 5s reached my expections of being overpriced, but when I saw the iPhone 5c, it was only $100. How come it's so cheap? Does it work differently from the 5s? Does it give you a limited amount of features compared to the 5s?
  • Why do most celebrities and Hollywood stars use Iphone instead of Android phones? I know some celebrities who endorse Samsung and other smartphone brands but behind the camera, they use Iphone. I know some people who are not wealthy; not even come from affluent clan, people don't earn that much but they managed to get an iphone through postpaid plan/instalment basis. They don't care if they will bury themselves into debts just to make themselves look wealthy/classy.
  • What's the price differ from contract to unlocked iPhone 4 & 4s? I have no idea how a contract works but heres my view. The iPhone 4 has gone down to $0 for a 3 year contract, so does that mean I just pay for $30-80 per month? And the 4s is $159 for 3year. So does that mean I pay $159 AND the contract ($30-80)? So would it be cheaper to go with the iPhone 4 contract, or unlocked for either.
  • Switching phones on Verizon.iPhone and android? A person who is on my family plan is using their phone upgrade to get an iPhone 5. I currently have a Galaxy Nexus. When the new iPhone is activated on their number, can we then switch phones so I would have the iPhone and my original number, and they have the Nexus? Does the iPhone to android factor affect this switch.
