How bulky is an otterbox case?
I'm getting an iphone very shortly! I'm not very prone to dropping my phone, but i deffinatley want to be safe since its an iphone. I would really like to get an otter box case, but i'm just wondering how much bulk it actually adds to the phone (defender series) i don't think they are ugly or anything, but it seems like it almost triples the height of your phone! Should i get the defender? Or is it really bulky?
Added (1). Would a commuter be better?
The defender is definitely a quality case, and the extra padding isn't too bad. Most quality cases would protect your phone very well (Speck, incase, lifeproof) but if you really want that extra protection, the extra bulk really isn't a concern so much as the extra cost.
- Which iphone case is better? Lifeproof OR otterbox armor? I want it to be water proof, drop/crush proof, dust, and cold/snow. I really want it to be thin-ish and water proof. ALSO which one can go deeper in water and take a longer fall
- What's a good iphone case thats not big and bulky? I have an otterbox and it is way too big and bulky. What's a good smooth iphone case Thats not big and bulky but will easly slide in and out of your pocket. And the protection is near the protection of an otterbox. I have a 4s
- What's a safe iphone case besides the otterbox? I'm clumsy and drop my phone alot. I own the otterbox, which is a tank, and has helped me numerous times, but I have come to accept that the otterbox ruins iphone aesthetics, so I'm looking for a less bulky case that will still provide reasonable protection against occasional drops out of my hand etc. Some of the cases my friends have are so thin I worry it won't do anything.
- What are some good iPhone 5 cases that aren't bulky? I know that the otterbox is very bulky and I'm not a very big fan of that. I'm looking for suggestions of cases that are not big and clunky but still provide protection. I'm a 15 year old boy so I would prefer black, grey, or clear cases.
